Lord
Krishna is always with His beloved Radha. Krishna
is the eighth avatar (reincarnation) of Vishnu.
He is represented as the cow-herd, playing on
His flute. Radha, Krishna's eternal companion,
is one of the gopis (milkmaids) who love to
play and dance with Him. The devotion of Radha
and Krishna to each other is symbolic of the
relationship of God with each of His devotees.
Radha and Krishna are often spoken of as RadhaKrishna,
indicating that they are truly one. Their vigraha
are carved of marble and come from the state
of Rajasthan, India.
